humans are interdependent by nature. we depend on each other to survive thru all harsh conditions that life throws at. no one can survive on his/her own. look at how our economy works? how our indivivual daily life is?

even like in ancient times where there are kings and warlords.. these powerful figures always claims to be yi ren zhi shang, wan ren zhi xia. meaning high above the rest. but can they true be the al'mighty if they do not have "subjects" under their ruling? true enough, a warlord can kill maybe one hundred people in a battle. but he still wont survive if he doesn't have his men wif him.

in modern days, we always look for people to climb on to get to the top and leave ur friends behind or even step on them. this is a result of taking "interdependent" for granted. chinese people say yin shui si yuan & we're taught to nvr forget ur roots. but these values are rarely seen any where anymore.
